Job Description:
The HVAC Superintendent is to provide overall direction for field installation of projects. Owns direct responsibility for “field labor, labor coordination, quality control, and safety” on projects. Represents our company on the project site and ensures that the installation functions as designed and satisfies the contracted scope. The Superintendent must be specialized in the areas of new construction, schools, retail, restaurant, residential custom homes, and remodel with knowledge in mechanical installation, sheet metal ductwork and pipefitting. Must also have the ability to read and understand blue prints, submittals and plan details. They should be familiar with current building codes.
Responsibilities: * This position involves hands on work
- Ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA std. safety rule &conduct weekly safety meeting.
- Monitor installation including equipment, duct work, piping, controls, insulation, etc.
- Perform material take-offs, ordering tools, materials, project layouts, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity
- Schedule manpower, hiring, monitor crew performance, labor reporting, job cost reviews and time sheet reviewal.
- Coordination of installation between trades and coordinate sub-contractor progress
- Attend and coordinate meetings with the site crews and General Contractor
- Job scheduling including all labor and material requirements
- Schedule equipment and rental deliveries
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions
- Total accountable for quality of work at project
Requirements:
- Five plus years of experience as an HVAC Superintendent
- Need to have basic tools
- EPA Certified
- OSHA 30
- Valid State of Florida Driver's License with good driving record

Pay Scale: 70K to 80K depending on experience
