Industrial Maintenance Engineer - Hanover Park, IL - Level 1 - 1st Shift - Monday - Friday - 7:00 am - 3:45 pm - $2,000 Sign-On Bonus - No Weekends!

Salaries range from $20.00 / hour to $22.00 / hour with a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus.

ROLES andRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adheres to manufacturers' guidelines and standards to maintain, inspect, service, and repair MHE equipment.

• Provides guidance and supervision to less experienced mechanics on complex assignments as required.

• Arranges routine maintenance for all equipment, performs work on assigned material handling equipment for operation.

• Identifies, orders, and replaces parts necessary to complete repairs for routine maintenance.

• Completes work orders and maintenance timesheets in an accurate and timely manner.

• Performs all work in compliance with established quality standards and safety procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Performs additional maintenance duties as required.

• Encourages the MSC Culture throughout the firm and in the department to ensure the unity of purpose and achievement of MSC's mission.

• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Technical certification is an added advantage.

At least five years of job-related experience is required.

Five years of working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and systems diagnostics related to material handling equipment and various MHE equipment (primarily Raymond, Crown & Hyser) is required.SKILLS:

Compliance with the disposal of DOT regulated items is required.

Basic computer literacy (Excel/Word) is required.

An MSC driving license for warehouse vehicles must be obtained within the specified time constraints.

Working knowledge and experience of plumbing, HVAC, and conveyor systems and controls is advantageous.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bending to lift items from the floor and racks is required.

Ability to lift items of up to 75 pounds is required.

Ability to operate at heights of up to 50 feet is required.

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time is required.MISCELLANEOUS:

• A valid state driver’s license is required
