Summary
Looking for an amazing person to be part of our seasoned team. The Assistant Teacher will join a team who is working together to create a caring and safe enviroment for all children while implementing a quality program. This Teacher must excel in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, observing and docusmenting children's interest and progress, and replaying that information back to parents and staff. Also this Assistant Teacher will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropiate activites bases on children's interests and under the direction of the Teacher in the classroom and the Program Director.

Duties
- Actively engages in activities
- Manage cleanliness, manintenance and availability of classroom materials
- Assist in implementation of cirricula activities and encourage participation by children
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through designated App, daily drop off/pick up, and consistant informal discussions
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center
- Follow all center policies and state regulations
- Maintain personal development plan and traning to ensure continious quality improvement
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months child care experience
- Ability to work well with others
- Team minded
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
- An understanding of child development
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Current NC Childcare Criminical Background Check Letter (CBC)
