We are looking for a dynamic, results-focused Innovation Manager to join the Partner Solutions team within the Research division of Wiley. The Innovation Manager will play a critical role in innovation engagements that support the development of new product ideas generated within the Partner Solutions group. With a mission to prioritize innovations on behalf of Wiley customers, the Innovation Manager will represent the Innovation Team out of our Hoboken office, own the innovation engagement process, qualify opportunities, manage workshops, and take product ideas from concept to prototype. You will have an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver internal and customer innovation engagements and will work with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product management, partners, and customers, etc.).
How you will make an impact:
- Lead, track, and manage Innovation Engagements from start to finish
- Facilitate full-day workshops for external and internal customers, subject matter experts, technical experts, and others
- Work with leadership to qualify opportunities for innovation engagements
- Develop internal C-suite and line-of-business relationships with leading innovators within Wiley and customer organizations
- Deliver high quality Innovation Engagements that result in the creation of value propositions and/or business cases
- Share best practices with other internal Wiley teams
- Effectively track and articulate the value of the Innovation Engagements
We are looking for people who:
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing innovation or equivalent consultative-selling role
- Strong presentation and writing skills, and a strong ability to influence others
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a portfolio of projects in a complex environment
- Understanding of the publishing industry and the end-to-end publishing workflows
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams
- Education – BA or above, additional qualifications in relevant areas highly desired
As part of a global team, required travel for this position is up to 25%

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The target base pay range for this position is $109,000 to $156,300. This range represents Wiley’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however, the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skills, and competencies.
