Intake and Scheduling administrator Job at PHHC Personal home Health and Hospice
We are currently searching for a Scheduling/intake administrator to join Personal Home Healthcare and Hospice. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating schedules for home health and hospice care.The ideal candidate for this position has a background in home health, hospice and/or palliative medicine and enjoys being an integral part of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the activities of nurses, doctors, and other support staff in an efficient manner to optimize service delivery to patients.
- Maintain patient records.
- Negotiate conflicts between patients and their care providers.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts between colleagues.
- Manage the flow of patients through the facility.
- Manage budgets for assigned department and submit information for budget reviews.
- Provide clerical support for physicians' offices.
- Answer office phone calls from outside parties.
- Input clerical date from referrals.
- verify ability to accept patient referrals.
- work with marketing team to build and maintatin relationships with referral sources.
- Experience with microsoft preferred.
- Strong medical vocabulary preferrred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
