The Bioeffects Division of the 711th Human Performance Wing within the Air Force Research Laboratory (711HPW/RHD) is looking for an Integration Manager, DR-04XX,08XX,13XX-03.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for integrating and advocating research programs in the bioeffects technology portfolio.
- Prepares staff packages for the Divisions response to taskings.
- Monitors, prepares and presents reports to higher headquarters and command elements.
- Selects and presents information on Division programs in response to queries for information.
- Assists in the development of the Division’s strategic plan, business plans, and Science & Technology (S&T) roadmaps.
- Monitors the Division’s applied research (6.3) and advanced technology (6.3) programs.
- Prepares and implements processes for managing the Division’s 6.2 & 6.3 budget.
- Links OSD, AF, AFRL, Wing, and Directorate strategic plans, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) position, and requirements processes to the Division.
- Interacts with Directorate headquarters, using commands, mission planners, product centers, and programmers to develop and transition technology products.
- Prepares packages and information with Directorate headquarters and customers to develop technology transition plans, transition products, and develop inputs and solutions in accordance with the AF Core Function processes.
- Assists in preparation and delivery of Division overview briefs to MAJCOM customers; POM briefs at Directorate level; briefs to SAF/AQR; and capability or technical briefs to other directorates and services.
- Manages Division-wide system engineering: creates processes and conducts reviews to ensure compliance with relevant AFIs. Other tasks include leading the design and development of unique and original electronics systems; analyzing data sheets and drawings to determine applicability; and developing test and evaluation procedures for electronic systems.

Required Qualifications

- United States Citizens
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive Clearance.
- This is a Testing Designated Position. The incumbent may be subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
- This position may require travel.
- Incentives may/may not be offered.
- These are Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) positions, and require a Level 2 certification (Practitioner). The selectee will have 24 months to meet APDP requirements or waiver must be obtained.
This position may be filled as a 5-year Flexible Length and Renewable Term Technical Appointment (new government hires, current government term employees, etc.) with the option to later convert to a permanent appointment.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year or 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent in an alternate pay system.
