Interior Design Installation Manager Job at Theory Design

Theory Design – provides innovative, luxury interior design services for first-class residential, commercial and hospitality properties. We work directly with high-end builders, architects, landscape architects and others to deliver holistic products that capitalize on location, infrastructure and other characteristics.

Earth Tech Enterprises utilizes the latest technology to reshape the landscape of Florida for future communities. Our services include mining, aggregate processing, land development, lake bank restoration, beach and shoreline projects, environmental services, and marine services.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Delivery and Pickup: Driving to suppliers and vendors, clients, and other locations to pick up and deliver furnishings.

2. Furnishing Installations; Oversee the designer warehouse service performing the delivery, ensure protection of the home, Assist the Lead Designer on-site as needed.

3. Ability to drive a large Sprinter Van, assemble furniture, hang art pieces, mirrors and other tasks that may be required.

4. Receiving of inventory, check for damage, label, and organize storage space.

5. Ensure inventory on hand is clean, tagged, organized, and reconciled to the system.

6. General office and showroom support.

7. Communicates and works with designers throughout the installation.

8. Inspect furnishing stock levels to ensure adequate supply on site for upcoming installation schedule and designer demand.

9. Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.

10. Positive Image: clear and professional communication with the design team.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Minor furniture repairs

2. Disposal of packing materials and trash

3. Office facility assistance; cleaning, supplies, and light maintenance.

4. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid Driver’s License with good driving record

2. Able to lift 70+ pounds

3. Continuous standing, lifting, and bending.

4. Design Manager experience is a plus.

5. Excellent record keeping abilities and attention to detail.

Quality Communication:

Communication skills, both in verbal and written form, as well as be able to take direction and work independently to meet deadlines.

Customer Service Skills:

The Installation Manager must be able to work closely with administrative staff and designers and provide a first-class experience to clients via attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.

Computer Skills:

Ideally proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Inventory Tracking Systems

Education/Experience:

Experience with furniture and décor packing and moving, receiving goods, organizing, and tracking of items by client.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
