Angaza Information Technology Literacy Center (also known as Angaza Center) is a non-profit organization that empowers students in rural African secondary and high schools with information technology literacy that is critical for attaining economic and social prosperity.

We believe that Information Technology literacy should no longer be an exception regardless economic circumstances or social context.

Key Responsibilities

As Program Coordinator Intern, you will be expected to:

  • Perform research on prospective donors, partner school districts, corporate partners, strategic partners, and grant providers
  • Manage active donors, volunteers, corporate, strategic partners, and grant providers through our non-profit CRM
  • Set up each project (represented by member school onboarding) and manage the onboarding process in the CRM
  • Prepare information required for grant applications
  • Collaborate with the fundraising organizers to provide all required support
  • Work closely with program success team in the field to drive member school onboarding to complete success

Participate in regular status and cadence video calls with program success team in the field

  • Prepare and share all required messaging, and reporting in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and present regular updates for the president

Position Qualifications:

  • College/ University Sophomore or Junior in marketing or business administration
  • Working knowledge of Google Productivity suite
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and successfully manage competing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with team members who are working in remote locations
  • Proven, excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven success in working with ambiguous information and finding required results
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with others to achieve expectations
  • Track record for independently learning new contracts, concepts, and technologies quickly personal professional development
  • Proven strong written, and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Belief in the idea that when we support less fortunate members of our global community in ways that respect the way they are socialized, then the time it takes to attain collective success is much shorter

This position will be based out of our Lincolnshire, IL office

Additional Information:

This is a paid internship position.

The right intern will hold this position until graduation, and beyond.
