Irrigation & Landscaping Manager Job at Hughes Group LLC
Job Description:
The Landscaping & Irrigation Manager will conduct outdoor landscape projects and irrigation of residential and commercial properties. You will proactively assist crew, provide guidance to crewmembers and oversee all contracted sites, ensuring all projects are conducted with quality work in a timely manner. You will ensure that all customers are satisfied with the landscaping and irrigation projects per contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain job costs per guidelines and assist in meeting profitability goals.
- Escalates to Senior Business Development Manager any proposals deviating from budgets of time, schedule, cost, etc., for workable solution.
- Promote strong relationships with customer community through clear and frequent communication, and ability to meet customer needs. Develop relationship-building opportunities for the customer and the company.
- Investigate work-related complaints to verify problems and to determine responses.
- Provides feedback to appropriate parties regarding pricing, competition, and other market observations, as well as Assisting in developing budget for section.
- Manage costs to ensure project does not exceed project budget.
- Design and install irrigation systems as needed.
- Maps out areas for irrigation and installs system.
- Inspects, audits, repairs, and maintains irrigation systems as needed.
- Manages, instructs, and trains crew in tasks such as transplanting and pruning trees and shrubs, finishing cement, using professional grade lawn care equipment or any other assigned projects.
- Reports any issues or concerns on assigned projects to Director of construction.
- Enforce company SOPs, safe work standards to ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
- Produce billing documentation and conduct customer walk-throughs.
- Interpret schematics /blueprints for landscaping and irrigation for new projects and renovations.
