Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Jenkins SME* for our client.*
This is a fully remote opportunity to work alongside the federal government.
Job Overview:
A Developer analyzes the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with software development and implementation
  • 3+ years of experience in debugging and correcting errors in computer programs
  • 3+ years of experience using agile methodologies, system architecture and object-oriented software design, and an OOP language such as Java
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD process in Jenkins
  • 3+ years of experience with containerized applications and management systems such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • Experience with service-oriented concepts and enabling technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Ability to obtain VA Medium-Background Investigation clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and mentoring junior developers
  • Experience with any of the following:
  • Familiarity and integration with Salesforce
  • Experience with BPM tools such as Camunda
  • Experience with any AWS technologies

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical discipline. 8 years of additional experience may be substituted for education.
