Job Tracking Specialist Job at Beacon Building Products
This is a great opportunity to join a tight knit, established roofing wholesale distribution team that specializes in both residential and commercial roofing products. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a position with diversified job responsibilities as well as represent our organization to contractors/builders at all stages of the bidding and project award process.
What you will do:
- Coordinating bid process on commercial roofing projects
- Publish quotes for all public and private commercial roofing projects out for bid
- Provide timely and comprehensive commercial roofing project quotes to our sales representatives
- Assisting clients on projects regarding pricing, product selections, etc.
- Coordinating project information with subs/suppliers
- Attain project information from multiple sources and input/compile into our database
- Coordinating all job specs to field staff
- Daily management of project details and updates until project completion
- Generating potential leads to company sales reps
- Develop relationships with company sales representatives
- Strive for self-development through product and system education
What you will bring:
- Proficient with excel and ability to learn new software
- Become proficient with Logic Track, Dodge, Contractor Plan Center, Mincron, and SalesForce to effectively bid and follow up on all projects
- Detail and Results Oriented
- Comfortable working under limited supervision
- High School diploma required with college bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience meeting deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting for long periods of time working on projects behind a computer to meet deadlines
- Given a large portion of the daily tasks will be publishing estimates and tracking projects
