Kitchen Assistant 3rd Shift – Cannabis Company

Pincanna is a vertically-integrated cannabis company with headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan and a cultivation and production facility in Pinconning, Michigan. The Kitchen Assistant will be required to assist in the kitchen with cleaning, food preparation, equipment operation and other duties as required. Work thoroughly through procedures to ensure company food safety standards and procedures are adhered to.

- Following policies and procedures regarding food storage, handling, preparation.

- Meet standards of production processes and cleaning consistently.

- Assisting with ingredient preparation and WIP products.

- General cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen and dishwash rooms including but not limited to floors, walls, benches and equipment.

- Operation of Kitchen equipment: Flow Wrapper, Industrial Dishwasher, Convection Oven, Candy Depositor, Kettle Mixer, Industrial Gas Range.

- Product sorting for damaged goods, and quality control.

- Ability to accurately track, and store product, and ingredients according to product batch numbers, and ingredient Lot #’s.

- Assist with packaging multiple processor sku’s as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Genuine enthusiasm and love for cannabis and the cannabis industry.

- Cryo Freezer - ability to go in and out of drastically changing temperatures, multiple times a day.

- An understanding of food safety and cross contamination principle. Successful completion of ServSafe course.

- Ability to lift over 40 lbs.

- Ability to sit/stand in one area for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.25 per hour
