PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with project logistics (clean up, material storage, water pumping etc.)
- Support project team in construction and installation of safety measures
- Actively participate in Task Hazard Analysis (THA)
- Work in an organized manner
- Complete certification courses (spotter, flagger, osha 10, fire watch etc.)
- Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
- Assist other trades when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of experience as a laborer in commercial construction projects
- Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools
- Understand construction terminology
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18+
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
