Job Description:
Oregon State Hospital (OSH) is looking for someone to work Material Distribution in our Warehouse! You will assist with issuing, inventorying, moving and delivery of all Equipment, Laundry, Furniture, Goods and supplies! Sound interesting to you? Great! Apply NOW!

What you will do!
You will utilize a vehicle, forklift and all material handling equipment for delivery, pick up, loading and unloading of warehouse materials!
You will utilize electric carts, trailers, pallets and tubs for the delivery throughout the hospital!
You will perform daily cleaning, safety checks and maintenance checks!
You will assist in the moving of all supplies, equipment and furniture!
You will assist all other positions in the warehouse as needed!

This is a full-time, permanent, Laborer/Student Worker, SEIU represented position.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
    Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Forklift Certification (OSH will assist)
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Flexibility to change priorities for optimal performance and service to the patients and Health Care Providers of OSH
