SCS Engineers are looking for a Senior Technical Advisor who specializes in land use planning in California. If you like to develop relationships and make a difference in local communities then this position might be for you. How you can make an impact as a Land Use Advisor

You will help our clients comply with local land planning requirements and otherwise helping them perfect land use entitlements in California. Our clients are involved in new energy infrastructure (e.g., hydrogen fueling) and emerging agriculture, among other vital needs for modern society. The ability to work with others to accomplish a common goal, to be responsive, and to communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science degree in Science or Engineering required.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in land use planning required.
• Subdivision Map Act, State Planning and Zoning Laws, and CEQA knowledge required.
• Endangered Species Act, NEPA and Clean Water Act experience required.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
