Duties:

Monroe Community Credit Union is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated full time Lead Member Experience Associate (Lead Teller). In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of individuals to create a positive member experience.

The primary duties of a Lead Member Experience Associate are:

• Teller duties
• Supervise and lead Teller line that processes a variety of transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments
• Participate and lead Teller line in all CU cross selling promotions
• Manages the schedule and ensures there are the appropriate number of tellers for busy and non-busy periods of time during the workday.
• Open/close office in the absence of the Branch Manager as needed
  • Replenish teller cash as needed
  • Balance day-ending teller totals and check runs
  • Responsible for following vault/key control procedures
  • Give accurate information on share and loan products
  • Balance and replenish ATM under dual control
  • Order and verify FED cash shipments weekly
  • Replenish/ balance cash dispensers as needed under dual control
  • Cash in Savings Bonds
  • Issue and log gift cards and travel money cards
  • Perform surprise monthly cash audits of all cash funds and report to Admin. Assist.
• Manage vault, ATM, and dispenser cash limits in accordance with co. policy
• Assist and run Check 21
• Saturday Schedule

Requirements:

• High school graduate/Preferred Associates Degree
• 6 month full-time Member Experience Associate (Teller) experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Must work in an accurate manner
• Ability to work with members on problems/complaints
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds
• Must have excellent grammatical skills
• Proven record with consistent and accurate Trackers – will pull GOLD report
• Excellent balancing record
• Penmanship must be legible
• Must be a proficient reader
• Accuracy and speed required on business machines such as computer, typewriter, 10-key calculator, etc.
