Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide facilitation of in-person and virtual learning experiences to a diverse, global audience, including the ability to:
- Display solid knowledge of content and incorporate a wide range of effective facilitation approaches to promote reflection, application, synthesis and transference of content and skills to all learners
- Present ideas clearly and gain agreement/group consensus to all levels of team members and leadership across the organization
- Observe dynamics when working with groups and raise relevant issues for discussions: ensure participation and involvement of all team members; adapt own behavior to meet individual learning needs and the needs of the whole group; ensure issues are pursued until resolved
- Connect with learners when speaking and hold their attention: speak clearly and concisely; communicate without jargon; use audiovisual aids appropriately; respond appropriately to challenging questions
- Establish a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and candid disclosure
- Adjust in the moment when situations go off track, including staying mindful of timing
- Train, coach and mentor internal/external partners in the development of facilitation skills
- Partner with content designer to review and redesign/revise existing learning products to ensure they are up-to-date and accurate
- Stay current with learning and facilitation trends
- Contribute to strategic projects related to People Development, as needed
Requirements:
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to connect with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrate a people-centric orientation, care for others, and value the contributions of a diverse team
- Maintain solid understanding of current learning disciplines and best practices
- Adapt to changing demands, ambiguity, or situational complexity with high decision quality
- Regularly identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration to achieve goals
- Ability to travel 25-50% (domestic and potentially global)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience of corporate learning facilitation with emphasis on soft-skill training
- Degree in Organizational Training and Development or related field a plus
