Love Joy Adult Day Health Care is looking for a LVN to join our dynamic team. This position would be part time working on average between 16-24 hours a week and would require someone who has a positive team-oriented attitude. The LVN will assist the Registered Nurse in the delivery of health care services as a floor nurse, involved in the program as much as possible.

Essential Functions
- Coordinate, train and supervise Program Aides.
- Assist in providing in-service training program, general staff meetings and related record keeping.
- Make recommendations for hiring, terminations, and evaluation of Program Aides.
- Make recommendations regarding personnel problems and needs.
- Always provide adequate and sufficient train staff.
- Create a team approach in providing services.
- Provide day-to-day close supervision of Volunteers.
Qualifications:
- Must be a State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Two years’ experience as an LVN in geriatrics; demonstrated experience in coordinating, assessment skills, supervision, and training; be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
- Demonstrated skills and experience to evaluate and monitor elderly health care; conduct health education/training programs; maintain accurate written and oral reports; sound judgement in emergency situations; deal effectively with families, staff, and community.
