Calling all LIFEGUARDS!!

Meet us Thursday, May 18th, 2023, at LEGOLAND FL Lifeguard WALK-IN hiring event!

Please bring a change of clothes and a towel as a swim test will be conducted as part of your interview process. Failure to bring these items will result in rescheduling of your interview.

Swim Test Requirements:

• Exercise #1 – Two 50-yard swims

The first 50-yard swim the swimmer must swim freestyle or breast and keep themselves above water the whole time.The swim must be continuous without any stops and must keep themselves up.The 2nd 50-yard swim the swimmer must be able to swim continuously with a rescue tube.

• Exercise #2 – Water Tread

The swimmer must tread water for 1 minute with hands up above their head out of the water or hands tucked underneath their arm pits.The swimmer cannot bounce off the floor either or use their arms at all.

• Exercise #3 – Brick Retrieval

The swimmer must swim out above the water to a 10-pound brick.Once above the brick the swimmer must dive down and then pick up the brick and raise it above their head. After raising the brick above their head, the swimmer must put the brick on their chest and swim backwards towards the wall with the brick out of the water.

New hires will receive paid training to obtain their Lifeguards certification. The certification training is conducted over nine consecutive days. Full availability is required to attend and complete the training. Day and Evening training classes are available.

FULL TIME Roles Available:

Minimum of 6 days of full availability including 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required for FULL TIME positions.

PART TIME/SEASONAL Roles Available:

Minimum of 3 days of full availability including 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required for PART TIME and SEASONAL positions.
