Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant Job at San Diego Biz Law
Our Employment and Business Law division is seeking a paralegal or legal assistant in order to work with us on the following tasks 10-4 Mon-Thurs (more hours may become available):
-Answering and making phone calls.
-propounding and responding to discovery,
-filing state and federal cases and motions, and
-Preparing FedEx and USPS labels and packages and ship them, as well as
-dealing with other issues the firm may require help with.
The ideal candidate will be tech savvy and can assist with various tech issues and the learning of new software as we like to be at the cutting edge.
Both writing and grammar skills are important to us, as is typing speed of at least 60 wpm. We are seeking someone who is responsible, takes ownership of a task or project, and gets the job done, not just ignore it when it's time to go home (ie tell the next person to follow-up).

Previous experience with propounding and responding to discovery is a must. This position begins as soon as we have located the right candidate.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
