Currently, Ryerson’s Milwaukee, WI plant has an opportunity for a 3rd shift truck loader.

Currently, Ryerson’s Milwaukee, WI plant has an opportunity for a 3rd shift truck loader.
The primary responsibility of this position are:
- Truck loading for outbound customer shipments
- Sheet and bar order assembly
- Proper completion of sheet/bar assembly work order paperwork
- Maximum productivity during job task
- Carrying/moving packaging supplies
- Crating or packaging material for shipment and packaging skids
- Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision.
- Direct filling of orders
- Unloading of inbound material through truck unloading and putting into proper storage locations
- Movement of Work-in-Progress through the plant, could include: skids of sheet, bundles of bar, plate, and metal coils
- Staging of material for daily production runs
- Staging material for shipping
Position Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
- Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing and mobility
- Previous overhead crane and forklift experience a plus.
Experience Required: Less than 1 year
Education Required: GED
