We are looking for an Airbnb Assistant to help manage short-term and long-term rentals on Airbnb in the SF Bay Area (East Palo Alto, San Mateo, Redwood City, Menlo Park).

This is a part-time position that requires driving to property sites at least once a week.

This job desires hospitality skills, and an eye for detail. If you are a people person, organized, and like doing DIY projects around the house, this job is for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect properties at least once a week, going through checklists, and handling/reporting any issues.
  • Address guests' issues and maintenance requests; Meet vendors & contractors on-site.
  • Develop guest and vendor relations as required.
  • Message and review guests: You will need to stay in close communication with guests through messaging via Airbnb, text, WhatsApp or phone calls. ‍
  • Resolve maintenance issues: You need to resolve issues reported by guests using remote means or by going on location.
  • Get help from Airbnb: If there’s an issue with a reservation or guest, you may need to contact Airbnb to work on a resolution.
  • Contribute toward overall operational needs by helping with communications and ordering supplies.
  • Handle miscellaneous assignments as requested by management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comfortable communicating using modern messaging technologies. (Slack / WhatsApp / SMS)
  • 1-year administrative experience in a business environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to drive to properties within the San Francisco Bay Area. (East Palo Alto, San Mateo, Redwood City, Menlo Park)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of phone and email procedures and etiquette.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
  • Proactive, positive, and energetic with a “can-do” personality.
  • Ability to check messages from home or from your phone. A reliable home internet connection is a must.
  • Ownership of a home computer and modern smartphone.
  • Flexible availability: Some after-hours or weekend availability may be required to handle Airbnb guests' needs.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with Do-It-Yourself home repair projects
  • Airbnb Hosting experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
