Job Summary:

The LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement) Commercial Engineer would own the pricing for LTSA offerings including necessary reviews with upper management through the appropriate delegation of authority (DoA). The LTSA Commercial Engineer would also continuously manage and update that pricing throughout the LTSA bidding process & negotiations to best optimize the pricing and scope for both Parties. As a part of the bidding process, this position would define scope for LTSA offerings via the Customer request and the associated Services "Clause-to-Clause." Alongside the review of the request for proposal, the LTSA Commercial Engineer will compile all Services-related Customer questions/requests and answer them with support from SME and use the information to generate all required documents for bids (technical/commercial proposals, spare parts list, etc.). This position works closely with the services execution team to align the scope offerings requested by Customers and ensure Saft success on both sides of the coin. The pricing is not limited to Saft and collaboration with Tier 1 OEM suppliers and Saft Authorized Agents (maintenance subcontractors) for scope alignment, quotes, and necessary refreshes during LTSA bids is crucial. The team works in tandem with proposal engineers, application engineers, and technical experts on maintenance and technology to understand the scope of supply and its impact on OPEX.

Responsibilities

• Generate and supply Services proposals for LTSA (Technical & Commercial)
• Foster Customer relationships to provide great kick-off to LTSA negotiations
• Maintain rapport with non-Saft entities to avoid scope/price change
• Coordinate with bids team to meet deadlines and management approval
• Support Cost-Margin-Review alignment and model updates
• Validate tools and processes which you will develop full expertise in
• Collaborate with key parties to best project the pricing of all scopes (maintenance, warranty, performance guarantees, etc.)
• Consolidate feedback from internal parties to enhance OPEX offerings in the future
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• BS in technical discipline. Financial experience would be beneficial as well
• Technical background (power generation, electronics, energy storage, etc.)
• 1-2 years+ experience in technology and/or finance;
• Willingness to learn a new technology and business
• Ability to adapt to a frequently evolving market
