Shift:12 Hour shifts working alternately (36) and (48) hour weeks. A/C shifts work from 6 am to 6 pm. B/D shifts work from 6 pm to 6 am

Job Title-Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator you will:
- Perform all duties safely and efficiently, following all company guidelines.
- Load blanks on paper cup finishers
- Ensure production of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Assist the Lead Operators in servicing the machine
- Relieve other Cup Operators and/or Packers during break and lunch periods, as needed
- Record mineral oil usage for machines.
- Complete a machine operator finishing rounds checklist
- Maintain 5S in assigned area
- Communicate with oncoming shift about any issues
- Perform basic preventative maintenance
- Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards
- Fulfill overtime requirements as necessary
- Assist in other areas or perform other duties as required
Machine Operator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Manufacturing experience of 1-2 years required
- Machine operation experience within a manufacturing environment of minimum 1 year required
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment
- Ability to maintain a positive team environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills and highly detail oriented
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow verbal or written instruction
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 40-50 pounds
- Must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements
- Must have Steel Toed Footwear
