Briggs & Stratton is in growth mode! They have moved into a new, state-of-the-art facility in Sherrill, NY and are looking to hire Machine Operators!

$19+ /hr DOE PLUS 8% shift differential for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts!
This is an opportunity to secure a position with a growing team at one of the world leaders in the manufacturing of commercial lawn mowers.
Briggs & Stratton offers the opportunity for overtime and also provides Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment!
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs basic program call-ups on manufacturing equipment.
- Follows standard work procedures to manufacture parts.
- Reads and interprets blueprints and job orders.
- Completes all work to required print specifications.
- Evaluates and inspects finished products for accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Self-starter, motivated, and detail oriented with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to do basic math
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Directions to the location: Turn onto E. Seneca Street directly across from the Maple Leaf convenience store and make the very first left onto Briggs & Stratton property. You will see a sign that says Briggs & Stratton parking only. Follow the driveway all the way down until you reach the parking lot for the building. Drive to the far end of the lot and then park by last entrance to the building.
