Maintenance Mechanic

Ability to grow and learn from a successful team!

Responsibility:

• Exhibit technical knowledge and ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Effectively communicate and document actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to appropriate plant and department parties.
• Responsible to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts
• Ability to fabricate and repair parts using instrumentation and tools available in the department.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with SOPs, processes, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related experience in industrial manufacturing packing/production machines.
• Ability to exhibit basic math skills using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.

The secret of their success was their unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality pie possible. It is this commitment, coupled with an emphasis on customer service, which has allowed our company to prosper for close to 100 years. The second and third generation management, still operating the plant today, carries on this tradition. It is our emphasis on quality that continues to fuel our growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• Overnight shift
