<p>Facility Maintenance &nbsp;Princeton Animal Hospital &amp; Carnegie Cat Clinic is a full-service, technologically advanced dog and cat veterinary facility located in Princeton, New Jersey. We are actively seeking maintenance personnel to care for our large, two story medical facility. &nbsp;Position Description: &nbsp;Facilities Maintenance is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performs general janitorial cleaning, upkeep of the grounds and building, and other tasks as assigned. This is a full time job opportunity offering 38-40 hours weekly with biweekly compensation. Facilities Maintenance reports to the Hospital Manager. &nbsp;The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing tasks and demands listed below. &nbsp;Key Job Responsibilities: &nbsp;* Repair and maintain furniture and fixtures as needed. * Chandeliers, lamp dusting and replacement of bulbs and surgical equipment. * Restocking/cleaning restrooms. * Paint, patch and refurbish areas as needed. * Care for all flooring and stairs on both levels of hospital using a vacuum, mop and polishing machine. * Keeping bathrooms clean and stocked with supplies. * Maintain hallways, front desk, treatment areas, exam rooms, surgical rooms and exam tables, business office, doctors’ offices, conference room/kitchen, laundry room and food prep areas. * Clean glass on all doors and windows, inside and outside of the building. * Clean exam room doors and window, front &amp; lower level entrances/lobbies and hallway doors/foyers. * Maintain ceiling panels. * Dust and replace tiles as needed. * Replace tiles due to water damage, discoloration, mold and mildew. * Change of all filters for HVAC as required. * Basic repair and maintenance on equipment and appliances. * Check and replace rings on anesthesiology machine, maintain the floor polishing machine &amp; replace polishing pad as needed; check drains for proper working order, empty and maintain the vacuum system as needed, maintain electrical room, maintain and clean kitchen appliances, maintain the dryer’s airflows. * Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials. * Replace doggy bags and empty waste in outside receptacles. * Observe parking lot for debris picking up rubbish paper and fecal materials several times a day. * Oversee daily trash removal and biomedical waste removal as needed. * Disinfect tables, counters and community surfaces. * Disinfect handrails, doorknobs, front desk, etc. * Performs other work-related duties as assigned. * Must be able to work flexible hours. &nbsp;Work Experience Requirements: &nbsp;* Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Must demonstrate strong communication skills. * Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task. * Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. * Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed above. &nbsp;Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: &nbsp;* Ability to push/lift up to 75 pounds. * Ability to climb ladders. * Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require. * Ability to work in hot temperatures. * Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints.</p>
