Maintenance Technician – Anchorage Administration Job at Akeela
Position Summary:
Provide assistance in the routine maintenance and repairs on all Akeela Inc. facilities and vehicles.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Provide assistance in general maintenance to include, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, painting, flooring repair/replace, counter/cabinet repair and vehicle repair/ maintenance.
- Maintain accountability of agency tools and equipment.
- Conduct monthly physical plant inspections at transitional housing.
- Report any health and safety related issues, or issues of concern to your supervisor.
- Maintain confidentiality per Akeela policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills-Any Equivalent Combination Of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience in a social service setting preferred
- Experience and skilled in maintenance and repairs
- Able to multi task
- Able to work independently
- Good written and verbal communication
