Abacus Staffing has an immediate temp to perm opening for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in Tolleson, AZ.
The Maintenance Technician:
Full time Shift 1 7am-3pm
Salary: $20.00/hr
- Responsible for maintaining machinery to ensure safety as well as productivity.
- Has extensive maintenance experience with material handling equipment
- Electro-mechanical skills, including troubleshooting PLC controls, servos, and other discrete electrical control components.
- Experience maintaining various types of sortation systems and conveying equipment.
- Ability to anticipate and identify problems
- Knowledge of mechanical design, layout, fabrication and repair practices as they apply to power transmission and conveyor belt applications.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Perform both mechanical and electrical Preventive, Predictive and Corrective maintenance tasks as well as emergency repairs as required.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ year of experience performing mechanical maintenance duties in a manufacturing/packaging environment, or equivalent combination of vocational education and experience.
- Working knowledge of motors and motor control methods.
- Have exceptional problem solving and maintenance skills.
- Strong team player.
