Pennex Aluminum Company is a leader in the Aluminum manufacturing industry for over 30 years. Pennex is currently accepting applications for full time Maintenance Technicians.
Qualified Maintenance Technician applicants must be able to perform the following requirements duties
· Install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance (PM) on large/highly automated industrial machinery and equipment
· Install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
· Maintain related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
· Must be able to use Programmable Control Systems to test and troubleshoot production equipment’s operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations
· Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
· Ability to troubleshoot and understand combustion controls, substation power distribution, variable frequency drives (VFD), human machine interface (HMI), servo drives, and AC/DC motors.
· Other duties as assigned
Maintenance Technician experience:
· Knowledge of Motoman/Yaskawa Robotics preferred
· Min. 3 years electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC work experience; ideally in a mill or foundry setting
· Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Vocational or technical training is preferred.
· Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and be able to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Welding a plus
· Must be able to work 12 hour shift; 6PM to 6AM
