We have various openings at our only location in Delaware, Ohio.

PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE: Executes daily/monthly preventative maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime of manufacturing equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintains mechanical and electrical devices used in the plant, including all production equipment and facility.
• Uses miscellaneous hand and power tools, puller, rigging devices, fork trucks, measuring tools and basic machine tools as needed.
• (Toolbox and tools provided by the employee)
• Basic understanding of skills are in the areas of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plant systems.
• Maintains safe and orderly working conditions and performs work in
• such ways as to not endanger oneself or fellow employees.
• Responsible for cleanup and general housekeeping of work area.
• Responsible for keeping supervisor informed of work-related problems and the
• Progress of work assignments, accurate labor reporting.
• Ensures all relevant information after the PM is completed is documented in our computerized maintenance system.
• Pull and label oil samples for offsite analysis.
• Mechanical: Grease equipment, check oil levels, check belt conditions, checking bearings, rebuild heat exchangers.
• Electrical: Check electrical connections for tightness, meg motors for monitoring over time, change motor brushes, change electrical cabinet filters.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be able to read, write, use shop math.
• Knowledge consistent with skills required performing the job responsibilities as
• Outlined in the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS section.
• Able to lift 100 pounds, push/pull 300 pounds, lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach,
• walk and, otherwise position items being worked upon.
• Able to work around hot metal equipment, on lift equipment in the building ceiling, and on the building roof.
• Capable of working in a highly electromagnetic area.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
