Due to company growth, we are looking for an additional Class-A Maintenance Technician. The maintenance technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment. Must have experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. Including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, & hydraulic systems. Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment is a must. Computer skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

The individual placed in this position will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Must be mechanically inclined and work well with basic hand tools. Experience working with Milling machines, lathes, Lasers and Press Brakes is helpful.

Requirements:

• 2 years minimum related maintenance experience
• Proven mechanical skills needed
• Basic electrical skills needed
• Basic hydraulic experience helpful
• Basic pneumatic experience helpful
• Basic Computer skills needed
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Desire and ability to thrive in a highly participative team environment
• Willing to work overtime when needed
• Good attendance and timely daily schedule is required
• Willing to learn
• Must have basic hand tools
• Be able to work independently with limited supervision
• Good mathematical skills.
• Willingness to work off shift as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as operating and maintenance instructions as well as electrical, fluid-power and mechanical drawings and schematics.

Class-A technician:

• Experience in all areas (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and mechanical) and mastery of at least one (i.e. master electrician).
• Experience troubleshooting production machinery including CNC equipment
• Ability to interpret machinery documentation including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, & ladder diagrams
• Should have a nice complement of tools to work in all areas.
• Hands on experience in working on or with CNC Machine Tools mechanical systems.
• Hands on experience in working on CNC controls and other NC or PLC controls
• Able to use precision measuring tools such as Micrometer, Depth Gauges and Calipers.

Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
