GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Technician keeps the building, common elements and grounds in good repair while continuously assessing and maintaining each area for operational efficiency and esthetic appeal. Must have previous experience as a building Maintenance Technician.
REPORTS TO:
The Maintenance Technician will be under the direct supervision of the Site Manager/Supervisor.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
Must be able to perform all duties as directed by the Site Manager/Supervisor to include, but not be limited to: Grounds keeping, landscaping, and other normal maintenance tasks.
- Must have an understanding and knowledge of a wide range of hand/power grounds-keeping tools, equipment and supplies, and be able to use equipment associated with general maintenance and building repairs, such as drywall, carpentry, plumbing, concrete, electrical, painting and landscaping.
- Must be able to complete tasks assigned without supervision.
Must be able bodied and physically fit in order to accomplish all tasks noted and other tasks required by the property.
- Must be punctual in reporting to work and dressed in a neat and groomed manner as appropriate for the job. Good attendance is expected.
PAY RANGE:
$19.00 - $22.00 an hour (commensurate with experience)
