Job Description:
looking for an IT Critical Asset Management Program Development Consultant for our client. Our client requires an experienced IT Critical Asset Management Program Development Consultant with excellent project management skills to support the development of an enhanced Critical Asset Protection Program (CAPP) assessment and roadmap. This is a 2-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Document definition of criticality for services, functions, systems, and technologies
- Conduct discovery interviews with SMEs
- Document current state and supplemental functional current state reference architecture drawings
- Analyze current state to develop Findings and Recommendations Documentation
- Create a CAPP Threat Model and Quantifiable Risk Model
- Develop a Roadmap (Remediation Plan) with a Prioritized Project List including identification of potential OKRs and metrics for remediation plan measurement
Required Skills
- 3-7 years experience in cybersecurity critical systems & programs assessments and roadmapping ability
- Experience with creating reference architecture and functional process flows
- Experience with the FAIR quantified risk assessment framework
- Experience with creating threat models (e.g., from MITRE ATT&CK framework)
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., IT Infrastructure Library [ITIL]) and service ticketing processes
- Experience with IT Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity including recovery time objectives, recovery point objectives and service level agreements
- Experience with data classification, labeling and data protection
- Experience with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards
- Experience with the NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) or equivalent framework
- Experience with creating roadmaps based on assessment findings
- Experience with SaaS IT infrastructure and cloud security concepts
- Experience with network security concepts
- Experience with high availability IT infrastructure design
- Knowledge of leading industry asset protection and high availability practices
- Ability to interpret and leverage existing documentation
- Excellent analytical skills
- Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar
- Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work as liaison between business and information security / information technology
- Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English
- Business outcomes mindset
- Solid balance of strategic thinking with detail orientation

- Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
Education
- BS in Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent work experience
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc
- Travel up to 10%

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
