Management Consulting Analyst or Associate (Affordable Housing focus) Job at Federal Practice Group LLC
Federal Practice Group (FPG) is a small consulting firm located in the Crystal City/National Landing neighborhood of Arlington, VA, focused on creating solutions to achieve our client’s affordable housing goals. With a small cadre of staff and team of subcontractors, we help government clients design, implement, and measure outcomes from affordable housing real estate and loan programs. Our immediate needs are for an Analyst (1-2 years work experience) or Associate (3-5 years work experience) who can serve in a utility position that will test their ability to successfully perform progressively challenging and rewarding tasks. We are looking for someone who can:
- Multi-task while working under strict deadlines;
- Be responsive to a high volume of client communications;
- Communicate effectively, including conveying information in a clear and concise manner;
- Identify problems and propose and help implement solutions;
- Produce quality work products;
- Build lasting relationships with clients;
- Contribute to the growth of a small business.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior staff with administrative projects and client deliverables
- Compiling and analyzing data and preparing professional reports; must be experienced using Excel
- Researching affordable housing issues
- Preparing for, participating in, and summarizing client meetings
- Managing client communications and multiple email inboxes
- Performing due diligence reviews of program application materials
- Assisting in process improvement and automation efforts for web-based applications
Qualifications:
- One to five years of work experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the affordable housing or consulting industries
- Interest in affordable housing
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum GPA of 3.5
