Job Description Summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking an energetic, passionate, and driven leader, to assist in the implementation and expansion of veLOCity and lead its Progressive Maintenance Pillar across the North American Supply Chain platform. veLOCity is Lamb Weston’s TPM based continuous improvement program enhanced with Proctor and Gamble’s Integrated Work System. The Progressive Maintenance Pillar specializes in establishing and maintaining optimal equipment reliability and process conditions in our manufacturing facilities.
The person holding this position will gain an overall understanding of veLOCity, and an in-depth knowledge of Progressive Maintenance Methodology. They will work with the Director of Continuous Improvement, other Continuous Improvement Managers, Progressive Maintenance Experts and Supply Chain personnel, utilizing these methods to achieve business objectives.
Job Description
The intent of veLOCity is to create a continually improving, high performance, world class manufacturing culture where everyone is learning and able to perform to their full potential. Continuous Improvement Managers support this endeavor by ensuring that sound continuous improvement methodologies are deployed and by raising the technical and practical capability of the individuals within the workforce.
Position Responsibilities:
Lamb Weston Continuous Improvement Managers are the platform continuous improvement experts for their veLOCity Pillar Methodologies. They:
  • Conduct systems assessments, track results, and report on Pillar progress across Lamb Weston’s Supply Chain Platform.
  • Identify and appropriately address gaps in Pillar implementation.
  • Develop and execute plans to strengthen workforce capability in order to meet business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of standardized Pillar processes across the Lamb Weston Supply Chain Platform.
  • Develop and Coach Supply Chain personnel to be proficient in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Appropriately align with other Pillar functions to ensure a balanced and effective approach to loss elimination.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more years of Change Leadership and Process Implementation
  • Experience in coaching both up and down in an organization
  • Knowledgeable in training and adult learning methodologies
  • Demonstrated success in Building and Leading Effective Teams
  • Energy, Passion, Patience and Persistence
  • Ability to define and articulate vision to guide, connect and motivate people
  • An understanding of equipment reliability concepts, including operator basic care
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and a commitment to standard work
  • Effective communication skills, and ability to influence change
  • Demonstrated passion for Continuous Improvement and Planned Maintenance Practices
  • Ability and eagerness to learn veLOCity Philosophies and Methods and teach others
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in the food industry
  • A willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a learning environment

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $103,510.00 - $155,270.00
