Job Description
Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of FP&A, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for coordinating the month-end financial reporting process for the company. The individual will research variances to forecast and provide commentary for the monthly financials. In addition, the individual will support the planning and budgeting process for the company. Key activities include coordinating with key departments, managing the close process, financial & portfolio valuation analysis, and maintaining the financial data reporting tool.
Job Duties:
- Financial reporting and analysis for month-end and quarter-end.
- Financial modeling, including portfolio and securitization forecasts.
- Partner with accounting, treasury, tax, and other departments as appropriate.
- Providing financial support for senior management strategic initiatives (i.e. M&A, New Products, etc.)
- Special projects for the SVP of Finance
- Maintain financial reporting system (Oracle EPM)
- Ensures compliance with Exeter’s policies & procedures, safety, state, and federal laws, regulations, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's Degree or CPA preferred.
- Six (6) years of directly related experience.
- Requires effective communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet required deadlines.
- Strong analytical and planning abilities.
- Experience with SQL, EPM, or similar database reporting tools is highly desired.
- Must have strong mathematical and statistical, data mining, spreadsheets, and graphic illustration abilities.
- Excellent self-manage and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven and oriented.
