Who You Are

You play a vital role in the development and refinement of manufacturing processes and procedures. You are an engaging member of the team cross-functionally to drive manufacturing improvement projects and educate stakeholders related to manufacturing best practices across two Latham Pool Products – Autocover manufacturing operations to consistently produce high quality products. In this position you are the leader of LEAN concepts to improve material flow and labor efficiency; to develop and implement projects to reduce labor variances and quality issues in both facilities.

What You’ll Do

In this position as Manufacturing Engineer, you will drive productivity related to labor variance, cost of poor quality, and resolve high risk safety concerns. You will be responsible for the improvement of standard work through LEAN concepts and providing all necessary technical support to help develop, specify, and improve existing manufacturing processes with a focus on quality and reducing cost. Along with the review of process, you are to make recommendations to correct the deficiencies to any and all safety concerns or risk to any employee.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering

3+ Years of Manufacturing Engineering Industry experience

Project management experience

2D/ 3D CAD experience preferred

Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma

Able to work on-site in the local Lindon, UT office
