The Manufacturing/Process Engineer I for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support for the instrument manufacturing operations, including the assembly and final test processes, to drive quality and on-time delivery for our customers.

This position is part of the Manufacturing Operation located in Miami, Florida, and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Manufacturing Engineering Team and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager responsible for providing technical support to the production teams manufacturing Beckman Coulter’s premier Cytometry products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Solve technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause.
Develop, enhance, maintain and implement manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies, and final products.
Coordinate the implementation of changes due to process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor, ensuring all quality and validation requirements are met.
Participate in Kaizen and process improvement events using the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
Provide training to manufacturing associates in new and existing processes.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in the engineering field (Engineering degrees in mechanical, electrical, biomedical, and industrial preferred)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Regulated Industries (e.g. FDA, ISO)
