Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the Highway Sales Group by collecting, analyzing, and reporting sales and market related information to increase profitability, productivity, and market knowledge and to use this information to draw conclusions and make recommendations regarding the company’s approach to the market. This position will also create custom and standardized reports; conduct quantitative business analyses and provide support for various sales functions.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited, to the following:

- Collect, research, analyze, evaluate, synthesize and report market data/competitive intelligence such as, and not limited to; sales and pricing trends, market share, competitor costs, industry production and storage locations, capacity utilization and apparent market strategies.
- Maintain and operate market/bid modeling tool and report findings
- Assist sales in development and execution of business strategy and improving bid process from good to Great.
- Work with cross-functional teams including sales, operations and logistics to understand and model industry cost and margin structure.
- Use of mapping software to graphically represent geographic sales and pricing data.
- Ability to draw conclusions, challenge assertions, identify trends and implications.
- Assist with development of presentation materials to clearly communicate key messages.

- Perform other related duties as required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative field such as Business Management, Mathematics, Economics, Finance.
- 2 – 4 years of business analysis, financial analysis or supply/demand planning experience.
