Job Summary: The Marketing Administrative Assistant will lead and manage all marketing aspects of Highland Genetics, including auction promotions, social media posting, video and graphic media advertising, and website administration. In addition, this individual will be the communication liaison for clients and customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

· Create and maintain a webpage that hosts regular auctions. Build promotional fliers, pages, videos, pictures for social media posts and promotional activities for each animal/product listed on the auctions.

· Maintain social media advertising, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap Chat, TikTok, YouTube, Flicker.

· Keep all websites current and up to date by changing pictures, graphics, videos, and content.

· Complete light graphical work for new fliers, websites, social media, magazine advertisements

· Create and generate videos for promotional activities

· Visit local farm in central Minnesota 2-3 times a month to generate promotional pictures, videos, and data to keep all advertising fresh. Farms are all within 30 miles of St. Cloud, Minn.

· Be a communication liaison and work to bring in new customers

· Utilize multiple advertising platforms to build and generate advertisements

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge & Experience:

· Light graphical and video editing experience

· 1-2 years’ experience in social media advertising

· Basic website understanding and a willingness to learn. Experience with Shopify platform is a plus

· Ability to travel to central Minnesota farms and take pictures and videos 2-3 times a month

· Access to video and picture editing software and hardware that will be used on a regular basis

· Access to a phone and camera to host and attend video conferencing meetings

· Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with personnel

· Knowledge of cattle farming (preferred)

Physical Demands:

Frequent sitting and typing. Bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, walking, sitting, and standing while taking pictures and videos at farms. Must have communicable range of hearing and sight with or without the use of aids.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.35 - $23.55 per hour
