POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of Direct Mail, Email and Online direct response programs for the acquisition, cultivation, and stewardship of our donors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Executing appeal, renewal and fundraising online and offline marketing campaigns.
- Coordinating mailing lists, copy, online donation links and creative for all email communications.
- Collaborating with key internal team members and external vendors to deliver assets and coordinate schedules to launch and manage campaigns as well as monitor inventory, acknowledgements, and campaign performance metrics.
- Partnering with the TU web team to create online web pages, donation, and renewal forms as well as confirmation pages and email confirmations.
- Ensuring correspondence data is loaded into databases for reporting and tracking purposes.
- Providing proofreading and testing support as needed.
- Submitting invoices to the financial system.
- Procuring cost information and loading it into the database for accurate ROI reporting.
- Providing customer service support as needed for premiums, benefits, and other issues.
- Producing monthly reports on the numbers of new and retained donors.
- Managing paper survey responses, including entering responses into Excel spreadsheets and importing them into NetFORUM.
- Maintaining accurate data, tracking, and reporting for all direct mail and email marketing and surveys.
- Assisting in the design and building of planned giving surveys via SurveyMonkey.
- Managing the process of developing and placing digital ads across TU’s properties and elsewhere as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of direct marketing, specifically email and direct mail.
- Membership and/or non-profit experience.
- Experience with Survey Monkey and membership and development databases - especially netFORUM - is a plus.
- Ability to think strategically, tactically, and creatively.
- Skilled in problem solving and refining systems to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with conservation and fishing/angling a plus.
- Self-motivated, with excellent organizational, time-management and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient with spreadsheets for the collection, entry, management, and analysis of information.
- Strong project management abilities, keen attention detail and excellent people skills.
