Regional Marketing Specialist

The Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for all standards related to assisting the Marketing Department in handling all administrative tasks, including organizing events, scheduling, budgeting, promotion, facilitating and directing of all sales activity and move-ins for the communities assigned. All responsibilities must be completed in accordance with property policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines and regulations governing our property.

salary range: $62K-$68K

Position Responsibilities:

Supports communities by filling Marketing Coordinator or Move in Coordinator vacancies and traveling weekly to maintain a regular presence at all communities in your region.

Provides oversight to all Marketing Directors and Marketing Coordinators in your region to ensure the following:

o Marketing and Supply purchases meet budgeted targets

o Marketing Events meet and exceed company standards

o Ongoing hiring and training to support growth

o Ongoing assessment of community marketing and first impression standards

o Ongoing development, evaluation of community marketing plans and events. Ability to create new and unique engagement opportunities.

o Planning, implementation, and communication of marketing updates with teams and communities

o Develop and lead training on marketing standards

o Leadership training and on-boarding on company processes and standards

o Maximize the productivity of the marketing teams and ensure proper training of all Coordinators

Assist Marketing Directors in implementation of Marketing Plans.

As directed, create, develop, promote, coordinate, plan, schedule staff, set up, attend and break down all special events held at or hosted by the Community.

Iin the community, ensure the team is knowledgeable of the goals, policies, and procedures for the marketing department.

Plan, prepare and conduct in-services for team members, as needed.

Monitor compliance with department’s budget through the effective and timely completion of Monthly Spend Down.

Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures for proper use of credit cards in conjunction with performance of job duties and travel guidelines.

Ensure all necessary vendor invoices are processed accurately and timely and in accordance with


General Duties:


  • Communicate effectively with members of the home office, regional team, and communities through written and verbal communication.
  • Participate in daily “Stand-Up” meetings to communicate key issues within the department while on community assignment.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all team members, residents, and guests, following established safety procedures:
    • Illness and Injury Prevention Program (IIPP)
    • Infection Control Policy
    • Universal Precautions and Bloodborne Pathogens
    • Evacuation and Disaster Plans
    • Resident Elopement procedures
  • Report occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • As required by state licensure, complete monthly training, attend scheduled in-services and mandatory meetings. Maintain all required certifications/licensures.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department.
  • Display tact and friendliness when interacting with team members, residents, families, and visitors.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with team members and other departments.
  • Provide support to Community’s marketing efforts through positive, friendly interaction during all community tours and telephone contact with the public.
  • Ensure positive, friendly interactions with all potential team members, residents, family members, outside vendors and referral sources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prefer one-year experience working with seniors preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
  • Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care.
  • Able to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
  • Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Able to operate office equipment including, copier, telephone, postage machine, time clock, medical alert system.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while still maintaining accuracy.
  • Able to adapt and respond to change, make decisions, and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Able to read, write and speak the English language to interact and communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, physicians, health care professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid, CPR, and Food Handler’s certification, as needed.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption due to Qualifying Medical Reasons or Religious Beliefs subject to legal requirements.

Travel:

  • Must have the ability to travel 100% of the time.
  • Must have the ability to travel long distances in both vehicles and airplanes.
  • Overnight travel is required. Will be required to routinely travel prior to and following normal business hours.
