SUMMARY

Placer.ai is seeking a Marketplace Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to grow our Placer Marketplace. The Placer Marketplace provides our customers with access to data providers, service providers, and applications which enhance the value of the Placer platform. The Marketplace team identifies, creates partnerships, and collaborates on marketing programs with our partners to bring these additional capabilities to the rapidly growing Placer customer community.

You will drive the continued success of Placer’s Marketplace and value for our customers while helping to grow the Marketplace to hundreds of new partners. The Marketplace Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President Business Development, Marketplace.

The PMM leads the development and execution of marketing plans to achieve partnership growth, customer usage, and revenue goals for the Placer Marketplace. With a deep understanding of Placer’s platform and customers, this collaboration-heavy role partners with Placer’s Marketing team to drive the Marketplace marketing strategy, as well as Sales and Customer Success to create and track campaigns. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for partner participation in Placer’s trade show programs, webinars, and other events.

The PMM should be a passionate creator who is data-driven, agile, and collaborative. A positive attitude and the ability to independently drive projects forward, meet deadlines, and raise work equally well across collaborative and independent work environments are essential to success, as well as excellent project management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and execution of bottom-up, ROI-focused multichannel B2B marketing campaigns that achieve audience goals by increasing brand/product awareness, increasing customer conversion/registrations through up-sells to new Marketplace products
  • Help identify growth opportunities and prospect lists
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting Marketplace traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers)
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to engage Marketplace partners in building relevant content including case studies, infographics, videos, podcasts, reports, white papers, and webinars
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and visual integrated reports from multiple sources to continuously inform marketing strategy and recap Marketplace performance
  • Responsible for maintaining and tracking the audience marketing budget; monitoring performance by channel to recommended adjustments for performance improvement

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience building, automating, executing, and analyzing performance of email campaigns using tools such Salesforce
  • Experience building, scheduling, executing, and analyzing social and digital advertising campaigns
  • Experience creating and managing marketing content, including campaigns and marketing copy for partner pages in the Marketplace, and circulating existing digital content through marketing channels
  • Experience defining and translating data into actionable insights that influence marketing strategy
  • Creative mindset with a history of conceiving new and innovative campaigns
  • Proactive work style that demonstrates the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and identify potential challenge areas
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate successfully with multiple functional groups internally (sales, editorial, etc) and externally (clients, vendors, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce, GSuite, project management tools and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc., a plus
