Job Description

The Shipping Clerk/Material Handler is skilled and capable of working in both the shipping and receiving departments. In addition, has strong computer skills and handles more complex workload, in dollar value and responsibility. Responsible for receiving material into the facility, closing out purchase orders associated with receipts of material, conducting kind, count and condition inspection of materials, entering receipts and related data into company computer system, putting material away in the proper bins or storage locations, unloading trucks, driving forklift.

Responsibilities:

• Packing product and material
• Pulling product from stock and other shop floor locations
• Processing shipments
• Load trucks
• Put product away
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years related experience
• Computer skills
• Forklift
• Ability to work in a hot environment
