We are hiring at our Ankeny, Iowa location for an Assembler/Welder. Responsibilities for this position include operating a portable grinder about 60% of the time, flux core welding, and operating air/power tools. Qualifications for this position include:
- Some flux core (working with .045 and 1/16 wire) welding experience
- Experience in operating a portable grinder (sizes 4 ½” & 9” grinders)
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Excellent attendance record
- Able to work overtime, averaging 8 hours/week, including some Saturdays
Work hours are 7:00 – 3:30 Monday through Friday. No nights!
