The CCS Companies are looking to hire an experienced medical administrative support person to assist with maintaining relationships with key client contacts as well as drive the day to day production needs of the client partnership.
Acting as the primary communicator between the client and the CCS ClaimAssist team, they work onsite within the client's Business Office, so that there are opportunities to fostering the client relationship and providing in person support to the client, while maintaining the highest level of efficiency and confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates patient information from client hospital to ClaimAssist for processing.
- Transfers files, transmits medical bills/records and processes mail for ClaimAssist while ensuring confidentiality and maintain HIPAA regulations.
- Assists in payment inquiries and acts as the primary communicator between the client hospital and ClaimAssist.
- Pulls and scans all medical records and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) into the ClaimAssist system.
- Processed weekly closed file reports via updating accounts within the clients system.
- Assists patients, in person, with questions and concerns they may have in relation to their accounts.
- Gathers and organizes mail, correspondance, and letters as needed or requested.
- Assists staff with other special requests (i.e. obtaining UB's, itemized bills, etc.).
- Absorbs other duties, as requested by manager or client hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one year of technical training or related experience in hospital claim submission.
- Knowledge of hospital billing and claims processing (EOBs IBs UBs etc.).
- Knowledge of accounts receivable industry.
- Knowledge of HIPAA requirements, general claims processing components, basic claim coding and submission practices, and payer processing requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
- Strong customer service skills and experience.
- Basic keyboarding skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- PC skills; proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel (required for routine reporting and communications).
- Ability to research the internet for claim issues and access payer websites.
- Ability to work independently and resolve routine problems with little supervision.
- Minimal travel required.
- Primary location of this position is within the clients office or any space they may provide.

- Ability to maintain a predictable and consistent full-time work schedule.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates degree preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
