As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for duties such as:
- Acquiring accurate preliminary visit data on each patient (height, weight, vital signs, age, and reason for visit) and properly recording it in the patient record.
- Properly collect and label specimens for reference laboratory and completes appropriate lab requisition forms
- Assists providers with physical examinations and procedures.
- Carries out procedures under the supervision of providers (ear lavage, injections, vision, hearing, EKG, venipuncture, TB Tine, etc.)
- Contacts patients, as needed.
