Medical Assistant - Dermatology Job at Dermatology MD
Come join our well-established dermatology practice! We are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. We have a supportive and friendly work atmosphere, with opportunities to learn in a newly renovated office suite. We provide a high-level of personalized care to our patients, and value each of our employees as an important member of our team.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is detail-oriented and able to multi-task, tech-savy and strong with electronic medical records.
The Medical Assistant will have extensive direct patient contact with the following duties, including but not limited to:
- take patient history and scribe for providers
- assist in surgery, minor procedures and cosmetics
- suture removal, wound checks and dressing changes
- patient triage, phone calls, prescriptions, letters
- patient education
- maintain logs, stock supplies and other medical administrative matters
- function as a collaborative member of a large and dynamic medical team
