MEDICAL BILLER
GUARDIAN DERMATOLOGY
Guardian Dermatology, PC, located in Helena, Montana, seeks an experienced medical biller to assist with the day-to-day billing and collections procedures at its established and growing practice.
Preference will be given to applicants with at least five (5) years of medical billing experience (dermatology experience preferred).
Additional job duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims to insurance companies through our EMR (Modernizing Medicine)
· Checking eligibility and benefits/insurance verification for treatments and procedures
· Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
· Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
· Ensuring the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
· Preparing bills and invoices and document amounts due to medical services.
· Investigating and appeal denied claims.
This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation and benefits package. Prior supervisory references and a background check are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Medical billing: 5 years (Preferred)
- Dermatology office: 5 years (Preferred)
